"A dream is something that fills up the emptiness inside. The one thing that, you know if it came true, all of the hurt would go away."Jesse St. James
age: seventeen dob: three-tweleve-ninety-three Residence: Akron Team: Vocal Adrenaline
Personality: Jesse is driven dreamer, just like Rachel. He has always dreamed of being a star, ever since he was young. His dreams as the most important thing to him, because they keep him alive, they keep him hoping for a better tomorrow. In fact, during the rough divorce of his parents, his difficult childhood (full of not fitting in and being punished for it) and the rough move to Ohio with his uncle, his dreams are what have kept him stable. He has always lived with the idea that one day, he'll be famous and then everyone will be sorry.
He is very confident in who he is, willing to be the star of his glee club and not allowing anyone to make fun of him for it. So much so that no one but the football team will dare make fun of him. It is Jesse's drive, his willingness to do whatever it takes to get to the top that has rocketed him to mini-stardom. But, with driveness, comes letting some things go. Jesse has never regretted loosing any of those things...except for one.
Rachel. He let go of Rachel for the sake of his star spot in VA and for the sake of his reputation. And has regretted it ever since. He truly loved Rachel, but his love for showbiz and glitz just to happened to get in the way of that. And now, he is questioning his choice. After all, the top of the mountain of fame is very lonely.
Jesse is a very strong kid and willing to stand alone in things. He is willing to be lonely. But, after all the bullying throughout his school years, and even still some today, he is beginning to wonder if the only true friends he ever had were at New Directions- at least there he was accepted. In Vocal Adrenaline, he feels always pushed to be more than he is, instead of loved and accepted.
History: Jesse is the boy who grew up hooked on Madonna and Brittany. He was a big dreamer, though very misunderstood. His parents, Mark and Gwen, were very split when it came to Jesse's future. Gwen was supportive to no end, while Mark was concerned that his boy would be shoved around and made fun of, so it would be safer for him to perhaps go for a dream less flashy and stereotyped. It was this fight that began the slow plummet of their marriage.
As his father predicted, Jesse was misunderstood and bullied constantly. He would come home crying most days. Though, the next day he would come back to school with his head held high, stubborn and unchangeable- though not for lack of Mark, and the football team's, trying.
Jesse stayed confident throughout middle school and proved his talent in theatre. He received most of the leads in school plays and the teachers were wildly encouraging. Though none knew that Jesse was using showbiz to get out of the house and away from his parent's declining marriage. It kept him driven and focused.
He moved to Ohio, freshman year because of his parents divorce becoming official. Entering high school, he continued his consistent run in winning lead roles- even beating out some of the seniors. Meanwhile, he joined the ever-popular Vocal Adrenaline. Thus began his slow ascension into school fame. His reputation and popularity grew, frightening away most of those who would try and bully him.
Joining New Directions during junior year was one of the best decisions he ever made. It all felt so right, even if their Glee club was a bit less toned and insanely focused as his old one. But they had wild potential, and, of course, the girl he loved.
He left before summer, being forced by his peers from his old glee club to leave everything behind. Still, his feelings linger. And, as his loneliness grows deeper and his own fame doesn't seem enough, will he make the decision his heart wants to or will he listen to his head and continue to drive forward undeterred?

Rachel and Jesse(I just had to use that pic -coughs-). Well, I totally ship them, if you hadn't already guessed! Although she is with Finn, and he's adorable too, but Mabel who plays him has been away, so she kinda thinks he's not too into them anymore. And there's a guy called Seth who has a crush on her, but she just sees their relationship as platonic (at the moment at least). Rachel is still upset over how Jesse left her though, especially 'the incident' (with the.. baby chicks -sob-). But come on, all egg-smashing, mother-connecting, glee-club-leaving and heart-breaking aside, I don't think there are two people in glee more identical in spirit. She still has feelings for him, although she hates to admit it. Nathan and Jesse(Obviously I don't have a pic of them xD). Nathan resents Jesse because he's the pretty boy male lead and although he isn't too fussed about Vocal Adrenaline, he wants to be the lead so that he can win more girls over. So there could be some power struggles, possibly at the upcoming invitationals! Actually, that would be a good idea because that could cause some major drama and maybe they'd be a little off the game and everyone would be like 'Oooo Vocal Adrenaline are losing their touch!'. I ramble, sorry XD If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know! <3 [/blockquote]

R&B: AH! YES! I'm soooo glad that you agree. I was a bit worried that you wouldn't. And yeah, I think Jesse is perfect for her. And I know for a fact that he really regrets what he's done. He's just sort of beside himself, as Rachel was the best thing that ever happened to him. But, of course, his spot in Vocal Adrenaline was at stake and that was the only thing connected to rocketing him towards his future stardom (and I also suspect that it probably had to do with his parents divorce somehow as well). So, yeah! I think that he should win her back somehow and they can be secret lovers! But of course, we need to come up with some new stuff that will keep them from being completely together- other than the fact that they're on opposite teams. Any ideas?
N&J I'd like that a lot! I think there should be more to it, somehow. But, it's a very good start!

Lorelai & Jesse Ohhh! Gotcha! Okay, well Jesse would totally be up for being a source of encouragement. And I could see him sort of helping to train her, practicing with her and such, helping her with assignments. I could see him totally boosting her confidence level, since Jesse oozes confidence. haha. And then maybe they could create a friendship out of that. But, even though Jesse would know she had a secret, I don't think he'd pressure her into telling or anything. That's not really like him.
Seth & Jesse Oh! Okay! Well that makes sense. So yeah. Negative tension is good, for sure. I could see Jesse just being frustrated with Seth and how Seth handles life. So, we just have to find good situations for these two to be around each other a lot and come in contact, otherwise the tension would probably die. haha. So, maybe they share a class or both like to hang out with some of the same people or something?
Emma & Jesse Well, good! I'm relieved. Cause I was not sure how weird this idea would sound. haha. Yes please! Let's do! Shall I start a thread for these two?

Okay, these all sound great! So I'm thinking, let's start a thread at the bowling alley where Jesse can hear Lorelai sing on accident.
As far as with Seth, should we wait? Since Jesse and Rachel aren't official?
And okay! Good! ^_^
So, I'll start the Jesse and Emma thread and you start the Lorelai and Jesse one? Sound good?

wynnie&jessie They would know each other from school of course. Maybe they could have a fling, after he breaks up with Rachel? He could be using her to get Ms. Berry jealous, and she could be using him to become more popular at school, since she doesn't believe in real love. So...um. That's just an idea. They could end up breaking up, and she won't care because she's just that way. I dunno. Ideas? Thoughts?

Wynnie&Jesse Well, actually, Jesse is still very loyal to Rachel. He feels very guilty about what's happened and would hate himself if he ever had a fling with someone. So, I could see her flirting with him and him turning her down. Or maybe she would try to get close to him to get popular or something.

Stephy and I were plotting a bit on Wynnie's page, so you should check that out(: if you agree, we were thinking about adding her to the page with you and Rachel and Emily, if that's ok with you. Jessie is so sweet! You make it hard to hate him. FinnxRachel shipper here(:

Finn & Jesse
Not only does Finn have hard feelings for Jesse since he's a competitor, and someone who betrayed the McKinley high Glee club by leaving, but he also stole Rachel. Finn, needless to say, isn't the biggest fan. At. All.
