I'M DEFYING GRAVITY!!! :D

Hi guys! So this is an update on my life for you all, because I totes owe everyone an explanation on why I've been so MIA lately. And heeeeere it is!

I've been mostly working on my audition piece for the school musical. Our fall production is An Evening With Broadway- which is basically like a play but it's a bunch of different scenes and music numbers from different shows. As a girl with an extreme case of stage fright I have not been in any shows yet, but that's my own fault. However after meeting a girl in my chorus class (who is named Cassie, haha) she told me I had a great voice and convinced me to audition. I sang The Wizard and I (from Wicked) for my solo and for our duet we sang What Is This Feeling (also from Wicked) on Monday at auditions. So for the past two days I've been going INSANE because I am incredibly impatient. So finally at the end of the day today the cast list was posted. And guess what?

I got in.

Not a solo, sadly, but Cassie and I are doing our duet (I'm Elphaba! EEEEEP!) and I'm in the chorus, so I'll be in a lot of the numbers anyway. I am SO FAR BEYOND EXCITED IT'S INSANE. OMG I'm bouncing. Great right?

But here's the not so great part. Rehearsal is every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until the show near the end of October or November (I don't have the details yet) and it's around an hour and a half long after school. So I'll be lucky to be home by 4pm or 4.30ish and then I have homework and chores and trying to write and other stuff to do for senior year and be president of writing club and have a life. I'm going to be a busy girl!

So the obvious solution is for me to quit the site, right?

WRONG. 100% incorrect. For multiple reasons. 1) I love you guys too much to leave. 2) I love playing Quinn and this site too much to leave. 3) I don't wanna! It's FUUUUN! and 4) I'm SUPERLAUREN! I can do it all. WOOSH! -insert me flying around in a kick-ass cape-

HOWEVER. My posts may take a little longer to get up. So if I seem to be lagging, it's not because I don't care. I do, I promise. I'm sending you all virtual hugs and kisses as we speak. I'm just passed out from exahustion. But I'm totally excited to do it because for once everything I'm doing is FUN. (Well, mostly) School this year is fun to go to because I have all electives. And I know this production is going to be a lot of work but I am so ready for it.

So yeah, that's me in a nutshell. I love you all, never forget that. And I promise on my love for Finn and Rachel (OMG THAT'S GI-FREAKING-NORMOUS) that I'll be on as much as I can.

LAUREN! I'm super duper proud and *cough* jealous! of you! I wish I had your voice and your school, we're doing Romeo and Juliet this year and I didn't find out til AFTER the auditions had been on, oops! I'm going to call Laurphaba now. It looks kind of weird but yes, it works.

And I promise on my love of everything Lea and Jon related that I will always love you -sings power ballad-

And yes, Rachel is very proud. She wants to know the dates and she shall be attending with a giant 'We Love Laurphaba' banner and she will kiss Finn in front of you, just for you. =D

Aww! Thanks guys! You seriously have no idea how happy that makes me. Your support means the world to me so to know I have you backing me is the best feeling in the world.

The show is September 17 and 18- I didn't realize it would be so soon! Yikes! Lol. And THANK YOU to Rachel and Lorelai's support. Quinn and I appreciate it muchly.

BTW my new name ROCKS! This is the best place EVERRR. I love you all!
