PERSONALITY,
Cameron, or Cam, as most people prefer to call him, is your typical musician. He has a burning passion for all things music; he sings, writes his own music, plays piano and guitar, and he actually has his own band. He’s also a very large music buff, knowing anything and everything from rock and roll to broadway. This makes him pretty popular with his peers, both male and female. His goal in life is to be sincere in whatever it is he’s doing, which is why his music is so important to him. Outside of his passion for music, Cam is typically pretty lazy; he doesn’t put much of an effort into anything else because he simply doesn’t care. He’s very nice and friendly, able to make friends quite easily. He isn’t Mr. Bubbly, though; it isn’t his mission to be friends with absolutely everybody on the face of the planet, but he does enjoy meeting knew people and learning more about the people he’s close with. He isn’t timid in the least, but he’s slightly reserved in the sense he’s perfectly content just listening and words aren’t always flowing out of his mouth. One thing music has taught him is to respect people’s differences, so he’s never one to judge and he certainly isn’t a bully. He hates drama and tries to avoid it at all costs, he also isn’t much for confrontation, but if something is worth fighting for, he isn’t afraid to stand his ground and fight for it.
HISTORY,
Cameron Paul Beckett was born on March 5, 1993. His parents, Abigail and James Beckett, were a young couple fresh out of college, but they were ecstatic to have a baby boy. Cam’s childhood was a little unorthodox; he spent most of it on the road with his parents. You see, Abigail is the lead singer in a band and James is her manager, so they were always touring and traveling the countryside, even over seas. Cam never minded it; he liked seeing the world, even as a small boy. It’s quite clear that his mother’s talent and passion for music were genetically transferred to him. His parents bought him his first guitar when he was seven and he treasured it with his life. While on the road, he never really had the chance to become friends with any of the kids his age, so he spent a lot of time playing his guitar and bonding with it.
Once Cameron hit thirteen, his parents thought it best that he attend an actual school. They had to settle down temporarily to work on another album, so they chose New York City as their new home. Cameron absolutely loved New York; he felt a special bond with the city and would often lose himself in it, like music. He lived in New York until his sophomore year of high school. His parents had to go back on tour and there was no place for Cameron to stay, so he was sent to Toledo, his mother’s home town, to live with his uncle. He spent his junior year at a school in Toledo and because of his inclination towards music and his previous life in the Big Apple, people seemed to flock to him. He became quite popular and made many friends, all of which were fascinated by Cam, although he would never truly understand it.
At the end of his junior year, Cameron’s uncle announced that he had to move to Lima for business. Cameron didn’t have much of a choice, so he moved with his uncle over the summer. Lima is a lot smaller than a lot of the towns and cities that Cam is used to, but so far, he likes it. He is enrolled at McKinley High.
