Shopping with Jaydon (Jaydon; Open)

We pulled into the parking garage of the huge shopping center. It was an amazing building, and heaven to me. I fixed my hat, avoided the pigeon poop that had accumulated on the floor of the asphalt, and looked again at her pretty blue convertible.

"When did you get her? She's a beautiful car!

I asked, lifting my bag out of the back, and looking up at Jayden. I smiled, and pulled a mirror out, looked at myself, and quickly fixed my hair. You can't have messy hair. It's just like buying a matching shirt, pair of pants, without buying the matching socks, you just look like a fool.

"Oh, also, one. What job are you going for? and two. Do you want to be sexy, or stunning, or modest?[/color]

I said, looking her straight in the eyes.

Jay watched as Kurt fixed his hair. She chuckled and said, Actually, since it's an interview, I was hoping for Professional and Stunning. But, first, do you wanna grab a cup of coffee? She said, grabbing her purse and jogging to catch up with Kurt. When she caught up to him she said, Oh yeah, and you asked where I got my car? My mom bought her for me when I turned 16. But, that's enough about me. Tell me about yourself. She said as they finally reached the outisde of the parking garage, and walked towards the building.

WOW. Even the NYC mall isn't THIS big. She said. She had been itching for a tall cup of Cappuccino with 4 shots of espresso and 2 of chocolate. But she was leaving this decision to Kurt. If he wanted coffee, they would get coffee. If not, they would shop first. She stopped at the entrance and waited for Kurt to answer her.

I looked at her, and smiled,

"Well, i've lived here my whole life, I live with my dad, and I do Glee club... we made it to Sectionals last year, but we lost, a judge hated us.

I replied, looking her up and down, trying to think of a nice style that would look professional, but pretty.
I snapped.

"Oh! I know exactly where we can go! Chan'treys! Oh, and how about we hit a Starbucks, that is, if you want to...[/color]"

I said, as we stepped into the air conditioned, busy, bright, hallways, I led her towards the food court. I have a stomach that needs what it needs, when it needs it, so I walked with her to the food court, and to the Starbucks, we stood in line, I tapped my foot.

"What do you want...?[/color]"

I asked, looking her in the eyes. As we moved up one in line,

"I'm buying![/color]"

I said, chuckling a bit, and ordering my drink, I stepped aside for her, and handed the cashier a credit card,

"Just put it on this...whatever the lady wants...[/color]"

She was nice, and a friend of mine now, so I may as well be friendly.

They stepped up to the Starbucks counter, and Kurt had already given the cashier his credit card, before Jayden even had time to open her wallet. Then, she spoke to the cashier, "I'll have large cappuccino with 2 shots of espresso, and 3 of chocolate." She smiled as the cashier handed her the coffee, and punched in the card PIN number. She then handed the card back to Kurt, and Jayden said, "Okay, let's get to Shopping." She flashed a smile. Shopping is what she lived for. Anytime she wasd offered to be taken shopping, Jayden was SO there.

I nearly laughed at her order. Caffineaholic much?

"Some one's a caffinaholic!"

I said, out loud this time, looking at her long blond and black hair. Stopping, I picked up my caramel frap, and took my credit card back, and we walked in the direction of the store, Chan'treys, a small boutique like place, with fashionable, yet reasonable, womans clothing. (Just so you know, I know about it because I shop with a lot of girls!)
We walk along the tiled hallways of the brightly sky-lit corridors filled with bustling bodies on the bright Saturday. The tiles are switched. Black, white, black, white, it was a bit tacky, but for the stores the mall contained, I could live with the ugly flooring.
Even if the occasional little lounging area had out of date, cracking, stained, leather furniture, it beat the small mall that they had in Lima.

When I spot the black and yellow logo, I take a last suck of my Frap, and toss it in the nearest trash-can, and walk to the entrance, pulling the door open....

Jay looked over at Kurt, when he called her a caffienaholic. I am from New York City. What do you expect? For me to be addicted to soda? She said, with a chuckle. Then they walked into a boutique-ish looking store. She guessed this was where they would be shopping for her new look, perhaps? She guessed she would find out. They walked farther into the store and Jayden had her eye on 3 things, so far. A very nice, professional-ish top, some very nice flare jeans, and a pair of converse. So it wasn't as professional as she wanted, but hey, at least she would look nice. She looked at Kurt. "Hey, I see a few things over there that look nice enough for my interview."

Since Jayden was one to dress for the occasion and blow someone's mind, and Kurt was willing to help her do it, what the heck? Kurt really knew his stuff when it came to choosing stores to shop in, so Jayden thought she had found her new shopping buddy, here in Ohio. He was really nice, too. He had bought her coffee, and was offerring to buy her clothes. "Kurt? Thanks for the coffee, by the way."

We were looking around the store, and I had already spotted a nice top for her to wear...it was across the way,but they had time to get there.
I grinned and looked at her,

"No problem...

I picked up a nice, black, Anne Taylor skirt. It was a bit ratty for this store, but was one of the nicest Anne Taylor pieces I had seen yet.

I held it up to Jaden,

"This is a nice piece for the designer, it's a bit overpriced, but thats what you get when you come to the best, professional store...what do you think?[/color]"

I asked, the skirt was 78 dollars, but if I could put a price on it, I would have guessed about 58...but thats the price you pay for getting a store this good.

We were walking past the dress section, and I couldn't control myself. I ran up to the dresses, and inhaled deeply,

"Oh, my, GOD! You could so rock this dress! Maybe not to your interview, but come on![/color]"

I held up the silver, layered, silk strapped dress, to her, and sighed,

"You could so work the party girl look.[/color]"

I stated, simply and looked at the price tag, 148, that was a steal. It must have been cut short, by not enough people buying them. Stupid stores, don't they know that there's a ten week breathing period where things either sale through the roof, or don't.
I'm guessing this dress was about to go through the roof, its the end of summer. Girls are going to be looking for a perfect last party kind of dress!

Jayden laughed at Kurt as he showed her a dress. "Yeah, I like it, but I have the out fit picked out that I want to wear. So, no, it's not as professional as I, of all people would have liked, but, hey I LOVE IT. Jayden took the last sip of her cappuccino and tossed it in the trash. Then, she looked at her watch. SNAP, 2:45! And its a 20 Minute drive to my interview.!! Jay looked up at Kurt, Ok, I'm ready. I hate to cut this shopping time short, but It's 2:45, and its a 20 min. drive to where my inter view. But hey, here's my number. Call me and I will tell you how it goes. And thanks for the clothes." Jayden said, handing him her number, and flashing a smile. But, I REALLY gotta go. But, do you need a ride home?

I called after her, as we exited the store, and I began to walk in the direction of Interview...
