PERSONALITY,
Terri has always been seen as a bit of a bitch, not so much in your standard bitch ways but she see's what she wants and usually gets it. This is seen a lot by the way she demands things from her husband Will and nine times out of ten, he allows them. To most people she can come across as a nice girl, this is usually her way of getting what she wants. This was shown again when she was befriending one of her husbands Glee club members, in order to buy their baby and carry it off as her own. She was very sweet to Quinn Fabray, offering her pregnancy advice and even offering her money but not too much.
She is deceitful, this is a major flaw on her part. She tried to carry off a fake pregnancy and even paid for the doctor to show a fake sonogram of their 'fake' baby. Terri is also known to twist people around her little finger, play them off against each other and to make people do anything that will make things that much better for her. A perfect example of this is when she was interfering with the school students and faculty members in order to make sure that the red headed, Emma Pillsbury was no where near her husband. .
HISTORY,
Terri was born September 12th 1979 to Ava and Malcolm Del Monico. She was the second daughter and has one old sibling by the name of Kendra. They grew up in a small suburban bungalow where both daughters were spoilt rotten by their father, this leading to Terri's future needs of attention and some what need to posses many objects. (her slight spending habit) She attended the local schools, along with Kendra and usually spent her Saturday evenings at the pictures, with her dad. She was a proper daddys little girl, more so than Kendra and could pretty much get anything she wanted. Her relationship with her mother wasn't as close, they usually bickered but that was down to her mother not enjoying the attention Terri always got. As for her sister, they have always been pretty close but usually it is Kendra calling the shots and making the decisions while Terri just listens and does what she is told. This would later prove to be the destruction of her marriage, if only she had a little more smarts of her own and listened to her own ideas.
Terri attended President William McKinley High and was a member of the cheerio cheerleader squad. You could say she was a popular girl who was seen as very attractive by most who knew her. Her older sister also attended the school but wasn't quite as popular as she was, not quite. During her time at school she grew close to a member of the Glee club, William Schuester. He was a very cute guy and Terri couldn't deny the attraction there...even though he was a Gleek, as they would still be called today.
Needless to say, Terri embarked on a relationship with the boy and soon after graduation they became more serious. They both attended the same college as each other and were soon making plans for their futures. Terri wanted to be something without having to work too hard to get it, she could be seen as quite lazy in that aspect but still, in her eyes, her beauty was enough to get her places even if she was lacking the smarts.
Once College was completed and Terri had somehow graduated with semi-acceptable grades, Will Schuester proposed to her. Terri still held her head in the clouds but she knew one thing, he was smart and he could earn money for them. This was enough for her to accept his proposal and begin building a healthy home for them both to live. Of course she did love him, she just loved a lot of objects just as much. Months and years passed by, they were married and Terri began work at Sheets N Things, she was the retail manager and only worked a few days a week but even that was seen as 'too much' work for her. Their marriage, as sweet as it had began, was now weakening....Will was loosing interest in her and Terri could tell that. She was scared and knew that the only way they could be saved was for her to get pregnant, so she began trying...and trying until one day the test came back positive.
All was happy in the Schuester residence, Terri was expecting and Will was offering more attention to her again. Happy ending? Not quite. It was soon found out that Terri wasn't really pregnant, she had been experiencing a phantom pregnancy which wasn't uncommon. This worried Terri immensly and, still worried about losing him, she continued to play the part of pregnant wife, wearing a pregnancy bump to mark each trimester....she knew it was wrong and she knew he would find out.....which he did. He left her, completely unable to stand being in the same room as her. Terri still loves her husband and wants him back but she is not delusional enough to think he will be hers again.
