Well you mentioned you wanted Rachel and Lorelai to be childhood friends, so they could have met at singing lessons when they were younger? If Lorelai was more confident then? Rachel needs her friends, she has a distinct lack of them! And it would make for good role playing. If you have any ideas, I'm open to suggestions!

Yeah. In character, do you think she'd have the equivalent of Facebook or Myspace? Rachel could have sent her a message about the party for them to reconnect? ;D

sorry, i'm on my phone, so i'm too lazy to switch accounts, haha.
i think she'd have a facebook, yeah. rachel would have to promise her that she won't drink, but then lore would agree to go.

Finn & Lorelai
So I figure Finn wouldn't be the biggest fan of Lorelai, since she's simply another girl who's friends with the two girls that have given him more trouble than anything else in his life. I feel like at first, the only reason he'd have to talk to her would be the fact that they sit next to each other in class (and Finn probably sneaks peaks at her tests when the teacher isn't looking). It probably would've been one of those things where they didn't say anything to each other past what they needed to in order to get through the class, but for some reason, perhaps a group project, they became friends. Finn is a bit standoffish with her, because he doesn't want to ever get involved with any girls that are friends with Quinn or Rachel really, even if Lorelai isn't interested. He wouldn't be able to really differentiate in that department because of all the hurt he's gone through.
